I feel I would be a great choice for your team because I am willing to work hard, and give extra time to improve my academic as well as my athletic qualities. I am already spending anywhere from 2-3 additional hours each day working on my basketball skills. I always make sure all class work is completed before I work on basketball. When I have free time, I am looking for ways to get in the gym to improve my basketball skills. I also am willing to ask questions to learn more whether it comes to sports or academics. I work well with others, and am a good team leader. I can not imagine a life without basketball; it is my goal to play or coach basketball.
I have played basketball for only a few years. It started my seventh grade year. At first I was not all that interested in basketball. Ever since the beginning of my eighth grade season, I have grown an amazing love for the game of basketball. I have noticed all of the benefits that come from playing basketball.
One benefit, is the relationships that you grow while playing basketball. The most important relationship that I have grown, is with my coach. He has almost been like a dad in ways to me. He cares what happens to me, he cares about how my grades are, and how my life is going. I would have to say that the relationship you grow, are an amazing thing that can come from any sport, not just basketball.
The most important thing that has come from basketball, are the life lessons it teaches. Basketball shows you how much hard work needs to go into anything, in order to be successful at it. You need to dedicate your extra time, to improve academically and athletically. That is what I am here to ask you for. I want to tell you that I am willing to put all the time and more if needed, to make both me and the team stronger. The court is a home to me! I love the lessons you learn, and the goals you learn while playing basketball.
