Don Ethan Drake '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Drake, I'm a 6'1” point guard at Eminence highschool. I've played basketball since I was in the fourth grade. As a freshmen played mostly JV, my sophomore year I started varsity and was a part of winning a dirstrict title. As a Junior my team won Districts again and Sectionals but we came up short in Regionals. I was selected All- Conference, All-District.  As a Senior my team won a State Championship and finished the season 32-1. I was selected to All-District , All-Conference honors, and All State. I feel one of the most important things I bring to the court is leadership, my coaches have always pushed leadership at the point guard position. A few other things I feel I do very well are: Shooting, I take good shots and I shoot the 3 well. I shot 50% for the field, along with 41% from deep, my senior year I made 85 3's. I'm also a good passer and have developed a nack for getting teammates the ball in a good position for the them to score. 

Acedemically I work as hard as I can to get the best grades I am capable of. I was a member of Beta Club my freshman year and have been a member of math and science club the past couple years. 

I have always wanted to play college basketball. I haven't completely made up my mind up mind about what to major in, but at the moment it's physical therapy. I'm excited to see what the future holds!
