Since I was little I have always loved playing basketball. I love competing against others and nothing drives me more than finding someone who is better than me and working hard to beat them the next time. I was always the smaller player on the court but that never stopped me, it is actually what drives me. I am proud of the success I have had at my size. I lettered my sophomore year and started my junior year after the starting point guard got hurt. I have been taught by my dad to always be prepared for your opportunity, because you never know when it will happen and when that moment happened I was ready to be the starting point guard my junior year and kept that position for the remainder of the year even after the starting point guard came back from injury. I will always be preparing for my next opportunity that is why I want to take my talents to the next level. My coaches have always told me I am coachable and make the smart decisions on the court. I also believe in leading by example and you have to be the hardest worker on the team to lead that way. I have a great jump shot I shoot 200 to 300 shots everyday especially during the season so I can maintain my skill over the other shooters.
