Jake Hughes '20 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play college basketball at the collegiate level and earn a doctoral degree in physical therapy.  I am very dedicated to basketball and am very competitive. I also have a high work ethic, so though I am not very strong right now, I guarantee I will be.  Especially coming off a meniscus injury, I will work harder than ever and will keep striving to get better because I will no longer take the privilege to play for granted. I think I am different from other recruits in character because I am a quiet leader. I will show some emotion on the court but will remain humble and laid back off the court. In terms of athletics, I think I bring a well rounded mix of athleticism and shooting ability.  Lastly, I have high academics with a 3.9 GPA and making the high honor roll list all four years of high school while also being active in many extracurricular activities.
