Personal Statement

My name is John Cooley and I will be graduating in 2019 from the Churchill County High School. I would love to continue my education in Business while continuing to play and compete in basketball.  I started playing Football, Basketball and Baseball at a young age until my sophomore year in high school where I decided to focus on basketball.  I have devoted most of my off time into improving my shooting from all distances. My father is in law enforcement so I have tried my hardest no to disappoint him by not getting into trouble and going to juvenile parties.  When playing basketball I work hard on being able to shut down my opponents best scorer with my defense. I will always give 100 percent for my team and coaches both on the court and off.
