I started playing tennis in 2010 at the David Ferrer tennis academy. Mr. Ferrer is one of the best players in the ATP, Association of Professional Tennis Players. A year later I became a member of the Royal Tennis Federation. My player number is tel:10313211.
To compete in the Spanish tennis league and in the community of Madrid, I became a member of the CTP (Tennis and Paddle Club Arganda). I participated in all the youth leagues from 2011 to 2018, winning two league titles from the community of Madrid.
I participated in the School Olympics of Madrid in 2011 where I won a bronze medal. In 2012 and 2013 I won silver medals, and in 2015 and 2017 I won gold medals.
I was also a ballboy at the Madrid Master 1000 in 2016, 2017 and 2018, having the privilege of being the ballboy for Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, and Isner.
When I arrived in the United States as an exchange student, I joined the Churchill County High School tennis team. My statistics in 3A league are 25 games played and 25 games won. I qualified as seed number one for the Northern Nevada 3A regional tournament in Truckee, California. In the regional tournament I played 4 games, winning each game, and became the Nevada 3A regional tennis champion.
Because of my success in the regional championship, I went as the number one tennis player from northern Nevada to play in the 3A state tennis championship in Las Vegas. My first game in the state championship, I lost the first set and in the second set I was losing 5-2 and my opponent had 5 match balls, but I fought back and won the game 4-6 7-5 and 6-1, demonstrating, I think, my mental strength and never giving up.
In the semifinals of the state championship I faced the 2018 state champion. I lost against him 6-1 6-3 but we both demonstrated the best of our abilities, and I must admit that he is a better tennis player than I.
After I lost in the semifinals, I won third place 6-0 6-1. I was awarded the third place trophy for tennis in the 3A League of the State of Nevada. I played 31 matches for Churchill County High School and I only lost one.
