My dad introduced me to basketball when I was 5 years old and have been playing ever since. My dad coached me through junior high and taught me to be a universal player. My main position is shooting guard.
My typical training day starts at 4:30 a.m. with a skills workout for 1 hr then I go to school. I do a 1.5 hrs afternoon shooting session and then a 1.5 hrs evening weightlifting workout.
I played all 3 years for Tarkanian Middle School. I really grew athletically and learned the game well.
With the freshman basketball team, I was a starter and made many gains. I ended up not playing my sophomore year in high school and focused on my grades and I joined The Combine Academy where I kept up on my skills and training with a personal trainer. I've always played more than one sport when I was younger. I also played on the Freshman football team as a TE and WR. I also tried out for high school golf, where I made the Varsity team. I was a member of LV Rain and then Sparks LV AAU teams until everything came to a complete stop with Covid-19 .
Due to covid-19, we did not have a 2020 season for my Junior year. So, I have been keeping myself and skills up by playing in my traveling AAU team, D1 Silver State. My senior year I played for Innovations International so that I could be coached by a former college and professional player to get me ready for college basketball.
I am a hard worker and extremely well coachable. I have the passion, drive, motivation and ability to get things done. I love competition. I am a go getter and push for what I want. I have big dreams and I am striving to accomplish those dreams. I work hard on the court and in everything I do. I get good grades in school and I am pushing to be even better. I currently have a 3.6 and working to get that higher.
I am looking to attend college in 2022 or 2023 if I decide to do 1 year of Prep School and would like to study business/real estate/stocks. I have great work ethics that my parents taught and instilled in me, which I believe will help me with anything and everything I do.
On my off time from sports, I love to spend time with my family, work on my car, sharpen my basketball skills and study stock trading. I have also worked for the NBA Summer League as a ball boy during the past 4 years. This next year I'm hoping to move up to supervisor.
Through all this, I just want to chase my dreams and make them come true. I want to make my team proud and be a role model anywhere I can. Not just to my team, but to my siblings as well. I want to make my parents and family proud.
