Jose Rodriguez '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to obtain a degree in either mechanical or electrical engineering while still focusing on my basketball career. I would be ok with being in rotation on the team just as long as we win. I will strive to get better and prove that I belong on that court. I have great defensive prowess and I can score almost every time in the paint. I am a great playmaker and I am always looking up the court to find an open team mate. I am a solid player that can lead or play a role when needed. I don't mind not scoring because I would rather assist and play defense, but if needed I can go score. I am a team player and I will always help get the team in the right headspace. I am different from others because I can get myself fired up fairly easily and use that to fuel my game. I am always there to support my teammates and get them where they need to be. I am one of the top people in my class taking more of the harder classes. I do this and still focus on basketball which helps me handle stress better.
