I have been an athlete all my life. I started playing baseball at 5, by 6 I had added football. I played, started every year of baseball (always an all star) for 11 years. For football, I played and started both offense (receiver, quarterback, o-line) and defense (end). In eighth grade I wanted to try basketball on a team and made the team at my middle school and quickly became a starter.
After my sophomore year in High School, I decided to play basketball exclusively, as I love it the most and wanted to have the time to get better. I have a been a varsity player for 2 years, and started all 4 years in High School. I have traveled on teams the past 3 summers. The room for improving even more is great. Aside from great defense, blocking ability and toughness under the rim, I am a great role model and team leader. I understand about encouraging others, including the younger team members as well as those that don't get as many minutes. I can ascertain what motivates players and can help in getting them to be more productive in the game. Probably my best attributes are coach-ability, game-play, understanding game strategies and competitiveness.
