Basketball is a huge part of my life. It has given me amazing qualities that would make me a strong asset for your team. It has made me very self-disciplined to condition and train on my own. It has given me passion to improve as a player and find ways I could contribute to my team. I feel like I would bring good character and tough mental qualities to your team. I have a positive and good natured personality, and get along with coaches and teammates very well.
Having played basketball since I was five years old, it has grown to be a major part of who I am. Basketball has taught me the value of teamwork. The team has to work together to be successful. Basketball has also taught me to mentally move on. Every possession is a new opportunity. I have learned to reset and concentrate on the next opportunity. When I don't always like the call or something happens that isn't in my favor, I've learned to control and not show my emotions. This was a tough lesson to learn but one I am always working on.
I play AAU basketball along with high school basketball. Playing AAU basketball gives me an opportunity to play against the top players and teams in the country and it allows me to keep working on my game. I am looking forward to finding a school that will allow me to have a well-rounded college experience that will give me a great education and allow me to continue my basketball career.
