Magalen Nichols '22 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball means the world to me. I have played for six years now and one of my favorite aspects of the sport is how there is so much teamwork applied to everything. Whether it's during tough matches and practices or team bonding activities, volleyball brings players and coaches so close together and I have been fortunate to have played with very tight-knit teams in my past. I hope to continue this aspect of teamwork through college volleyball and I am so excited for my journey ahead! Throughout my time playing for St. Paul's, I have learned so much about leadership on the volleyball court and I focused on bringing energy and a positivity to every practice and every game even at the most difficult times. I won "The Pelican'' athletic award for exemplifying a positive attitude, commitment and constant improvement. I plan to hold myself accountable to each one of these wonderful traits as I progress into college volleyball.
