As early as I can remember, I always loved playing all types of sports, especially basketball. I started playing on organized teams at age 7 and have loved it since. In addition to basketball I played soccer, lacrosse, flag football and football from ages 5 through 15. I have always been known to be ultra-competitive at an early age and been able to help almost all the teams I have been on to win.
My Dad was our travel coach for 6 years and we had a State Championship and were Runner’s Up two years as well. My Dad has always been a great teacher because he has coached at the varsity level for over 20 years. He was the all-time Winningest Division 1 Varsity Basketball Coach Ever at Lowell High School, MA -with an overall record of 238-111. I was lucky because he taught me how to play the game right and develop the skills I needed to be successful along the way. I am also a lefty just like my Dad. I have learned to be a leader as well as a team player.
My AAU team always looked to compete against teams at the highest level in A Division tournaments. We played against the best competition in the Boston, Connecticut and Rhode Island areas. I played for a few different organizations - NE Storm out of Andover MA and NEXT out of Southern NH. In both programs I have continued to improve my game as a starting point guard. I have a strong work ethic and give 100% both offensively and defensively throughout the game. My NEXT team has won Championship tournaments over the last few years.
As the starting point guard at Pelham High School this season, I led my team by averaging 18.9 points a game and also taking charges. We competed in the Lowell Holiday tournament with some very competitive Massachusetts teams. I was named to the All Tournament Team and led the tournament scoring with 62 points in 3 games. Throughout the season I remained in the top 2 spots for scoring in the Eagle Tribune coverage area. We beat the top seeded Division 2 team during the season and I had a career high of 31 points that game. Our team finished the regular season 15-3 overall. I received the following post season awards
I will also focus on continuing to be an honor roll student. I am hopeful to try and capture a State championship my senior year . Basketball is my love and I would love to play at the next level!
