What an opportunity! Basketball teaches life skills both on and off the court.
I have been playing basketball since I was five years old. When I first stepped on the court, I aspired to play at the collegiate level. Strong ball handling skills, court vision and a high basketball IQ are 3 of my strongest attributes while on the court. I am a team leader and I lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to be at their best for a full 32 minutes of game time. I am a coachable player who has been exposed to many different coaching styles and game plans. I have represented my town program, AAU programs, fall and summer leagues and now play at a varsity level. I strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of.
Off the court, I have strong study principals and maintain a high GPA. A quality education is important to me as I take the next step into college.
I volunteer at local youth basketball camps passing on my knowledge to the next generation of players.
I want to attend a college where I can be challenged both in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
