Stepping onto the basketball court for each game reaffirms that this is where I want to be and need to be. I have played basketball since middle school and have made each team I tried out for. Basketball has not only affected my physical state but also my mental state. Through this sport I have learned how to be part of a team, play well with others, listen to direction, take chances and work under pressure. My sense of humor and ability to state cool under both extreme physical and mental condition makes me a great candidate to play college level basketball. I hope to be able to utilize these skills when I arrive at college and study Sports and Fitness Management or Physical Therapy.
