My collegiate goals are not only to attend a competitive college or university but also to play on that schools basketball team. I believe my passion and dedication to basketball from an early age has guided my aspirations of becoming a college basketball player.
I approach my sport in a serious, responsible manner, continually working to improve upon all aspects of my game. I believe the only way to achieve my goal is through consistent hard work. I am commited to the long hours required on the basketball court as well as to the strength training required off the court.
Attending Christian Brothers Academy has prepared me well for college life. In addition to instilling a strong work ethic, I have learned how to manage my time in order to meet high academic demands while also fulfilling obligations to my team. CBA stresses the importance of first achieving academically in order to succeed athletically. I have balanced my time to allow for school work and basketball as well as extacurricular activities.
My third year on the varsity basketball team, I am a starting player and have been granted the privilege of being named a team captain for a second year. I have great respect for my coach and teammates. I am a mentally tough, unselfish and competitive player that performs well under pressure. I welcome higher levels of competion as I believe it is the best way to continue to grow.
