Daniel McManus '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Daniel McManus and I play basketball at Manasquan High school, and for the NJ Shoreshots. I have always tried to model myself after my dad, and how he is such a hard worker.  I have a 3.8 GPA, and I always try to put in an extra effort when it comes to both school and the basketball court. I have decided to play basketball because I love how enjoyable the sport is and how fun it is to play with other people. An academic goal of mine is for me to add on one Honors or an AP class each year. I am in the ELKS Antlers for community service, and love giving service to my community. Throughout grammar school, I was given the citizenship award from sixth through eighth grade because of my helpful human skills. I also like to help out in the area coaches with their camps for younger kids, as I like to represent myself as a role model for those who are younger.
