Hi, my name is Joseph Paladino. Growing up I played almost every sport and always had a dream of being a collegiate and professional athlete. Most sports came easy, but when I started playing basketball I struggled. Although there was struggle, I fell in love with the game. Being a shorter player I made sure to work extra hard and do the things other people didn't do. My Dad has always been my role model and he was a division 1 wrestler for Seton Hall. He taught me his work ethic and since junior year of HS I've been waking up at 4am to make sure I can get my first 5am session with my trainer.
This year I was supposed to tryout for a division 2 professional team in Israel. That fell through because of the war with Palestine. Although it unfortunately didn't work out, all year I've been preparing to be pro and got in the best shape of my life. I've always struggled with confidence and my shot has never been consistent but the last few months they've become my strengths and could definitely see myself playing both the 1 and 2 if needed. I know with the training I've been doing I am more than ready for college basketball. To get an opportunity would be a blessing and I most definitely wouldn't disappoint whichever school decides to give me an offer or even walk on. I just want to play ball at the most competitive level possible and showcase what I can do.
