I am looking to attend a school that excels in both academics and athletics. I want to be challenged on and off the court to reach my highest potential. I have a strong desire to become a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. As a result, I am looking for a school that can prepare me academically to reach this goal. Basketball has been a passion of mine since I was a child. Some of my earliest memories involve me with a basketball. Basketball is what helped me adjust to America. With this said basketball is part of what makes me who I am. Therefore, I would like to continue playing basketball as long as I can.
I know that being a student athlete won’t be easy, but I know I have what it takes to excel both academically and athletically. I am intelligent, hardworking, respectful and unselfish. I would not only be a great addition to any college campus, but also to any team. I understand the importance of listening and learning from my coaches and teammates, as well as the need to practice on my own. I am not afraid of criticism and I always put the team’s success above my own. For these reasons I feel that I would be a great addition to any team and a pleasure to coach.
