I try to make an impact on and off the court by boosting my teammates' energy and motivating them in a positive manner. I am very vocal on the court and communicate with my teammates at all times. I am very hard-working, physically and mentally fit when it comes to playing the game. I strive every day to improve myself. I pretty much play basketball all year round; high school in the fall/winter and AAU in the spring/summer. In my spare time, you can usually find me at the court perfecting my game or organizing pick up games with my teammates and kids from around the area. During the off season, I play varsity soccer as starting striker and spend time at the gym to keep myself in playing shape. I feel that to be a good point guard, you must have complete vision of the court. Having complete vision of the court enables me to make good decisions during the game when it comes to scoring or assisting my teammates. I have a very strong passion for the game and would like the opportunity to continue to play at a high level in college. I believe that my passion and love for basketball will prove valuable as I take the next step in my playing career! I have an openness to learn. I enjoy math and science, but still do well in other subjects. I am also a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation I plan on majoring in Business.
