Although I’m not a great player yet, I enjoyed my junior season on the court as a high school basketball player, mainly because I have hops. In my junior year on the basketball team, we had a record of 14-10 and we made it to the county tournament but lost in the quarter finals and made it to states but lost in the first round. At the end of the season, I learned a lot about my game on what things I need to work on like my defense and offense going into my senior year. I’ve dedicated to myself that I would work out at least 4-5 times out of the week. I would say my goal next year is to be First-Team All-Conference and Defensive Player of The Year.
I’m not just a good basketball player on the court I’m also a good student in school. I don’t like to be a athlete student because school always comes before any type of sports so I rather be a student athlete. To me school is important because it not just teaches you about math, English, or history but it also teaches me how to mature myself when going into college and what to prepare myself for. For me to get into any colleges my academics must be good. I like to set a specific goal for myself when it comes to grades and my goal is to in every marking period to have at least above an 85% in all my classes. In college I would like my major to be biology, animal science, or business.
