Elijah Gaskin '23 Recruiting Profile

I would like to attain my undergraduate and graduate degrees in my chosen field of study (currently undecided).  Succeeding academically is first and foremost to myself and parents, I understand that's what will take me to where I want to go in life.  

In term of basketball, I am an determined to be the best, and do my best, I work extremely hard.  I am team player and leader, I attempt to what is right for the team.  I understand being able to take constructive criticism from my coach will only help me.  I play tenacious defense, and always get my teammates into the game, by putting them in the best position to make plays.

As a result of my parents guidance, I am a good person, respectful and honest.  My mom and dad have taught to respect my elders, do the next right thing and carry myself with respect and dignity.

I have a 3.4 GPA, my goal is to increase it during the fall of 2020.  My mom and dad always talk to me about the importance of a good education, knowledge is freedom they say, and can never be taken away from me.
