As far as I can look back, I have always wanted to play basketball at the collegiate level. Basketball has always been the biggest passion in my life and it is my happy place. However, I have also worked very hard academically. When I attend college, I plan to study sports medicine. My family has stressed how important a college education is for my future and I have taken that to heart. I am currently ranked 4th in my class out of 31 students with a GPA of 4.031 and I have consistently made the Superintendent's Honor Roll. I am currently a candidate for the National Honor Society at my high school.
I have also succeeded on the basketball court. As a freshman, I was the only underclassman who started and played on the varsity team. In this same year, I earned first-team All-District for Class 2AA. This continued into my sophomore year, not only was I a starter but a team captain as well. Again, I had the honor of receiving the recognition of another first-team All-District for Class 2AA. My coaches have always stated that I am a very composed player with an eye for the court. I see things in my mind and I make them happen. What makes me stand out from other student-athletes is that I exhibit integrity, honesty, responsibility, and leadership in and out of the classroom and always on the basketball court.
