My ultimate goal is to play competitive college basketball while earning my college degree. I want to study exercise physiology or fire science. I know playing basketball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that would be a part of me the rest of my life.
I have the ability and skill to be a versatile player. Depending on the game situation I sometimes play outside of my primary position which is small forward and play center or even point guard. Not to mention I am a dual sport athlete in competing in track and field. I am dedicated, hard-working, and passionate. I am motivated and I play with grit and integrity. I am a team leader that believes in leading by example. I am a supportive and encouraging teammate and very coachable player. I don't make excuses when I make mistakes and I don’t dwell on it but rather focus on making the next play better. I not only give all I have in practice but I work extensively outside of practice to further develop my skills to become better at the sport I truly love.
I have played sports (primarily basketball, and track) ever since I can remember. My parents believe and have instilled in me that playing a sport is about more than great athleticism and skill but much more about life…being part of a team, accountability, dedication, hard work, and determination.
My love for basketball is undeniable. I know it takes hard work, dedication, and passion to be successful at the next level. I believe I would be a great asset to your program.
