Brayan Roybal '21 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has always been my craft since I was about 6 years old.  The game is just so beautiful to me, and I love how it builds relationships and trust between my peers and I.  Basketball has always been my form of expression and has always been something I´m passionate about!  Basketball is more than a game, it´s a type of love and dedication.  A lifestyle that sets examples for all the other younger kids that wish to be something big and productive in the future.  Basketball has given me hope through my struggles in life, and I know it can give hope to many other kids who were in the same struggles as me.  What makes me stand out from all other players, is my leadership and work ethic.  My job on that hardwood is to facilitate the floor and boost my teammates up/help them even if it means not scoring.  My goal is to boost my teammates up and doing things that don´t show up on the stat sheet.  I constantly try to push the players around me to that extra step that is hard to get too.  I don´t think of my teammates as teammates, I think of them as a family!  I build chemistry and a bond with each and every teammate.  At the end of the day, it´s more than a game.  It´s about brotherhood.
