Being a student athlete means that I had to learn how to manage my time effectively. Over the years I have developed a keen sense of self awareness and accountability both on and off the court while allowing myself to develop with each team and coach that I have played for. 

In my off time I volunteer myself to help the younger kids of our AAU organization to develop experience with shooting and drills to further themselves as well. This year I have challenged myself in the classroom by working outside of my comfort zone and taking an honors class. 

I am a team leader and team player and with time I have learned to sharpen my skills with school basketball as well as recreational ball and AAU. During both my on and off season my parents have made it possible for me to train with personal trainers and also participate with running a few games with the men’s league and on the military base. 

Playing on the collegiate level allows me an opportunity to continue to grow with the ultimate goal to make it to the NBA while obtaining a degree in sports medicine.
