I found my love for the game of basketball ever since I was little. My dad was the athletic trainer for the Dakota Wizards, a former NBA G League team. I was around the team from the time I was born until I was 7 years old. Being I have been around basketball for my entire life, I have a strong desire to continue my career into college. After high school, I want to pursue a degree in Architecture and eventually own my own business. I want to play college basketball because it gives me the opportunity to play the sport that I love and it will help me stay organized. I come from a small school, and with that comes more opportunities to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. I have been able to maintain a high GPA while also being involved in a number of extra curricular activities. This has forced me to be efficient at managing my time between classes and all the extracurricular activities that I am involved with.
Playing college basketball has been a goal of mine since I first started playing high school basketball. I was pulled up to play at the varsity level my eighth grade year, but I didn't get a ton of minutes. I have been a team captain since my junior year, and I think I have developed into one of the leaders for our team. My school's varsity team is a young team, and a majority of the underclassmen come to me when they need help understanding how a drill works or if they need some tips on how to get better.
