Owen Wiscombe '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Owen Wiscombe and I would love the opportunity to continue my academic future as a collegiate athlete. I currently attend Batavia HS in Batavia, Ohio. We relocated with my Fathers company as a family to Ohio from Texas after my 8th grade season. My older brother Aidan was a collegiate athlete and now serves our great nation in the US Navy and my older sister Caitlin is currently playing college basketball at Point Park University, so I know first hand what it takes to play at the next level and the work it takes day in and day out to be a leader and great teammate and most importantly a student athlete.

My Coach's would describe me as a great teammate, a leader on and off the floor, relentless defender that loves practice and can shoot a high percentage while having the speed and ball skills to aggressively get to the rim. I also play bigger than my 6'3 frame.

I want to continue my education and athletic career in an environment with like minded students that are pursuing their future, I would like to use basketball as an avenue to pursue my college education.
