As a high school junior, setting goals help keep me focused and on track to achieve any plan I set for myself. Overall, my aspirations are to graduate high school with a cumulative 3.5 GPA, attend college, graduate at the top of my class and play collegiate athletics. Basketball is my passion! The sport helps increase my court IQ, develop my skill level and become an overall well-rounded person.
Given the opportunity to attend college, it will be a good experience and help me develop the necessary skills to be successful after graduation. In the classroom, I am extra concerned about my grades because as a student-athlete, if you don't have the grades, the privilege of playing sports is taken away. My work-ethic, discipline, and willingness to learn, sets me apart from other recruits. I am the perfect example of a "coaches player". Being coach-able is an art and I appreciate constructive feedback as it will only help me become a better team player and person. When in the face of adversity, my leadership skills allow me to be a mediator, give encouragement, and learn lessons that will benefit me in the future. With this mindset and approach, I WILL BE a great addition to your school and athletic program.
