As a player, I am coachable, determined, and modest. My focus is to contribute to the program which includes doing what my coach needs me to do for the team. As a sophomore I was a utility shooting forward that sat behind 7 seniors and future D1 guard that almost made it to the State championships. As a junior I played the 3 forward as an (almost40%) spot shooter that would make 82 3's on the season missing the school record by 1 shot. On defense I was tasked with guarding the other team's best big man to hamper their scoring ability. This season as a result of losing our two "bigs" on offense for various reasons, I will be playing the 5 on our offense and defensive schemes as that is what the team will need from me this year. Although I will be getting some opportunities to shoot threes, I will mainly be serving as the high post setting the picks for the point guard and distributing passes to our other spot shooters on the perimeter. I have been a utility player for the Coffman Rocks. I have always been a 3 sport athlete, playing basketball, baseball, and football as well as club soccer in my early years. My body has endured growing pains throughout middle school and high school. I missed Freshman year from a growth plate injury. However, I know as my body matures with the right strengthening program and proper focus from the coach where I land, I will be a strong physical presence on the floor and a shooting threat from the perimeter for any D1/D2 or any NAIA program in the country.
