My college goals include playing for a school where I can achieve a degree that positions me well for a successful career and, that prepares me for a graduate degree. I want to play in a competitive environment within a system based on fundamentals and commitment to the team. In addition, play for a coaching staff eager to challenge players to improve and, dedicated to developing academic athletes.
I am a good fit for your team because I have played high-level basketball in several types of systems, have worked hard in the offseason to improve, and am committed to the details such as help defense, boxing out, making the next pass and taking the open shot. I am the first person in the gym and the last to leave. I support my teammates, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and have respect for myself, my parents, my coaches, referees, and my team. I have excellent basketball “IQ”, am a dedicated student and have high moral character. I am a leader and a second coach on the floor.
