My name is Ryan Paris and I am a 6’4 Guard in the class of 2022. I am a hard worker with high IQ. When it comes down to crunch time or a big game, I will step up to the plate. In my junior season I averaged 17 PPG 4 RPG on 60% from the field and 100% from the charity stripe in our tournament run where we unfortunately fell short, but made a great run to our district semi finals. I stepped up when my team needed me most on both ends of the floor. During the second half of our season I averaged 14 PPG where we won 6 out of our last 8 games that gave us that momentum going into the tournament. I am someone who will do whatever it takes to win.
I began playing basketball at a very young age in 3rd grade. I immediately fell in love with the game. My dad was the assistant middle school basketball coach, and when I learned to play, me and him began to workout almost everyday. I really loved the game, and I was aloud to go to every middle school practice regardless of how old I was. During most practices I was aloud to compete in the drills and that was very fun and beneficial to me. From that point on I’ve loved the game and haven’t looked back. I learned a lot on how to be a better leader, person, teammate, and basketball player. I’ve learned that in order to be great every little thing matters, and it is a constant 24/7 commitment.
I know how to compete at a very high level, and I understand the recruiting process very well. My sister is 6’3 and was a volleyball all American in High school. She played 4 years at the university of Kentucky where they won a national championship. I learned a lot about the work ethic that it takes to play at a very high level, and I learned a lot about the recruiting process. I also will be competing on the Adidas Gold Gauntlet (one of the best circuits in AAU). my conference was considered the best top to bottom in central Ohio, and many argued the best in the state of Ohio.
I am looking for a team that is a good for me athletically, but also academically. I not only have the talent and skill to compete for you program, but the leadership, attitude, work ethic, and mental toughness it takes to make an immediate impact on your program.
