I have played basketball since the 1st grade. It has always been my dream to play basketball in college.
I feel I am a very good candidate because I work hard on and off the court and very coachable player. When I make a mistake, I do not hang my head, I actually work hard to correct the mistake I made. I encourage teammates to do their best on and off the court as well.
I started playing basketball in a local league up at my school. The summer of my 6th and 7th grade year, I played on a AYBT team with my classmates. This passed summer, I would have played on an AAU team, Ohio Reign, if it wasn't for the pandemic. Besides basketball, I also play soccer at my school.
I work hard on the court as well as in the classroom and out of the classroom. This summer I worked on completing my Eagle Scout project to become an Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts. I understand the commitment and work ethic to play at the collegiate level and more than willing to put in the time to get to that level.
