Tyler Eberhart '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 6'7 junior who has been playing basketball since age 5. I started on my High School Varsity Team as a Freshman and continue to be a consistent starter and key player.  I also play on a very competitive AAU team to sharpen my skills, gain valuable experience, and challenge myself in order to improve my game.  The AAU tournaments I participate in are on a Nationwide circuit and are highly ranked.   I would love to continue playing at the collegiate level and know that I have the athletic ability, academic dedication, and demeanor becoming of a college athlete. 

I am a very versatile player who plays Power Forward and Center at my High School, but also feel I would be a very good Small Forward.  I handle the ball well, can shoot from the outside, and play aggressive defense.  I am an excellent passer who sees the floor well and loves setting up my teammates for easy baskets. Coaches consistently describe me as a highly coachable team player with a high basketball IQ.

I have a 3.34 grade point average with a Mar 2019 ACT score of 29. I take advanced placement and honor level courses in most subjects and I am a member of National Honor Society.  I would like to study physical therapy or pursue a sports science career of some type.  I welcome the opportunity to continue to play the sport that I love beyond the high school level and know that I can make a solid contribution both athletically and academically. I feel I have what it takes to be a leader both on the court and off the court.
