I am a player that puts in a lot of hard work because I believe that hard work pays off. I currently make between 1,500 and 2,500 shots per week, lift weights, and work to increase my foot work and foot speed, as well as my dribbling and ball handling. My main goal is to get better every day, and every season. I also aim to expand my game from the physical standpoint and my overall knowledge of the game of basketball.
My favorite personal accomplishment to date was receiving the "Archie Griffin Award" last season. The Archie Griffin award is the award given to one male and female athlete and is given for "exemplary sportsmanship". The award is voted on by all athletic coaches.
Academics are important to me because I know basketball is short term. I took freshman honors classes as an eighth grader and I am currently taking sophomore honors classes as a freshman. My grade point average last year was 4.6. My desire is to attend a college that best fits me both academically and athletically, and prepares me for my career.
