Blake Gomez '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Blake Gomez I am a 6’1 guard. I shot 47% from the 3 point line this year.  I shoot that well because I put in the work. I am a competitive person who likes to win. It takes hard work and determination to win. I have a lot of determination and I am not afraid to work. I believe that hard work builds character.
I am the type of player who is very unselfish. I will put the success of the team first. I will make the correct play, give up a good shot for a great shot. I will be the first one to hustle back on defense. I have a good basketball IQ. I have an instinct for where players need to be on the floor and I will talk and make sure each player is where they need to be.
I want to go to college and get my doctorate in Physical Therapy. I hurt my shoulder my junior year of high school and had to do a lot of physical therapy to get back to where I was before. I want to be able to help others, like me, who need help to get back to a good quality of life.
