Sam Hess '22 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach, 

My name is Sam Hess . I am a 2022 student-athlete with a 3.8 GPA  ranked 6th in my class. Currently I am playing club basketball for West Coast Domination located in Grants Pass, Oregon.  I attend Illinois Valley High School, I am a varsity level starter for  football, track and basketball.  This past year has been challenging especially since I have aspirations of playing at the next level but I have not let it be an excuse. I have made sure to look for opportunities to improve my skill set in both sports by playing club basketball (AAU) and since our football program has been canceled, I have been offered ( I accepted the offer)  the opportunity to play football for another High School team (Hidden Valley High School) that is a runner up to the 3A level State Championship. 

I am beginning to explore my college options and am very interested in  playing basketball or football for a college team. My intent is to commit to a program that will assist me in attaining my goal to become a physical therapist and play competitive sports at the next level. Therefore, I want to introduce myself and give you some information about my athletic and academic background.
