Mason Ainsworth '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mason Ainsworth class of 2022 from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay Oregon. I’m a 6’2” PG and am eager to play college basketball.  On the court, I have led my team Marshfield High School in both Points, Assist and Steals my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior year, as well as the leading scorer in the State of Oregon in the 4A classification 2 years in a row and played varsity for the last three years. I have been elected to all-conference 1st team 2x's (Soph, Junior) 3rd team (Frosh) ,HM and First Team All State as well  as 4A State tournament 1st team and outstanding player of the tournament.  My team recently won the 4A State title.  I plan to study exercise science or a similar degree program in college. I have a 3.7 GPA and have finished most of my honors classes and graduation requirements. Both my parents were college athletes, my mom played Volleyball for the University of Oregon and my Father played basketball for both Chemeketa JC and UCSB.  As a coaches kid I have spent my entire life following the game of basketball, training and playing.  My work ethic and acumen for the game you will find to be very high. Your consideration would be greatly appreciated, I promise to not disappoint as an athlete and student.
