Personal Statement

Zane Bernhard Combo PG/SG CO 2021 6’2” 165 3&D Swiss Army Knife

"High-energy combo guard that really got up and down the floor. Can score from the perimeter or off the dribble-drive. Very active on the defensive end. Playing with OBC." -Prep Hoops

Hello!

I’m a 3.5+ GPA High I.Q. 3&D Combo Guard at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. I am a varsity starter in my Senior Year. We are in the largest competitive league in Oregon (6A).

I have college/pro line 3pt.range and can score on all 3 levels. I am a disruptive defender, excellent ball handler, passer and playmaker.

I step up in the clutch and make good decisions that benefit the team:

If you'd like to see more of my defense, full games and current AAU insights, my channel is here:

Hopefully this shows my deep range, court vision and basketball IQ. During Covid I have still worked out with former professional player/private coaches & my AAU travel team 6-8 times per week, often doing doubles.

I hope to get an open gym invite as your year opens up. I am willing and able to prove I can compete and contribute at high, disciplined levels. I’m looking at ALL college options at this point and trying to find the best fit.

No matter what, good luck to you and your program this difficult year!

Thank you for your time and consideration, Coach

Zane Bernhard
