My goal is to play at the highest collegiate level possible. I'm trying to obtain this both in basketball and academically. Through my father working as a basketball official both at the collegiate and professional level has given me excellent exposure to the game. Also my father has coached for about 30 years. I feel like it has really developed my basketball IQ and leadership qualities for the game and also in life. Some of the attributes that I posses is a recognition of opponents offenses and defenses to counter them productively. As the point guard this makes me very effective with my teammates and they're production. I felt this is what gave me the advantage to play and start at the varsity level my freshman year of high school. I have also had the opportunity to play on the EYBL and the NYBL circuit, exposing me to some of the highest level of basketball in the country for my age.
Being educated in a private Christian school and living on a farm has given to me what seems like a stronger work ethic and higher level of discipline, which I feel is a good attribute for both on and off the court. By being very active in my church it has given me various opportunities to participate in community service events such as fundraisers and helping out the senior citizens both of our church and community.
