I have been playing basketball since 6th grade but did not fall in love with it until 8th grade, when I had a great coach who really pushed me. I currently play as much ball as I can, whether that be for the high school team, summer ball or just playing for fun with my friends. I also do community service and volunteer to help younger kids during basketball camps. I work hard, I might not be a born athlete but I am not afraid to put in hard work and do the best I can. I listen to my coaches because I know that I don't always know best, and I trust their experience. I also work hard in school to make sure I stay eligible to play because Basketball really is my motivator and being able to play is a main drive for me. I have also been the underdog so looking out for others, and being supportive and kind is important to me because I know that the best teammates sometimes come from the ones that others may have rejected.
