Hi my name is Josh. Since I am 4 years old I have been playing the game of Basketball. Have been blessed to grow up in a Christian family where faith, Sports, community, strong work ethics and a business mindset are at the core of our family values. My AAU Basketball Coach stated: "Josh is a hard working, dedicated, highly talented player. He brings a high basketball IQ and demonstrates selfless teamwork behaviors contributing much more than just putting the points on the board. An all around great player". I'm grateful for my coaches and teammates. I'm hoping to bring those attributes to a college where I can play the game I love, continue to develop skills and also enter into a Business & Marketing program. In addition of playing now for 6 years at AAU teams winning many championships, attending several basketball camps and being a Varsity Basketball point guard starter on my freshman year of High school, I have been blessed with great growth opportunities in other areas. I was 1 out of 2 selected by my Bible teacher to attend a Spiritual Leadership Conference in Florida. I have also worked as a youth and basketball counselor at Camp Sankanac in PA and worked as a cashier at a grocery store. Humbling experiences that have tought me many lessons. I was inducted to the National Honor Society and have been able to keep a GPA above 3.8. most recently 4.1. My goal is to hopefully join a college basketball team and a program where I can thrive. I have the determination, discipline, teamwork mentality and resilience to be a good student and athlete. I would give my coach and school my best effort every time always putting God first.
