Terrell McCarter '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to get an Associate's Degree in Communications. I aspire to either become a news reporter on NBA games or to be in the booth calling the games. I want to go to a school that suits the majority of my preferences and a school that I can get an opportunity to get significant playing time. What makes me a good candidate for your basketball team is my ability to be easily coached, my willingness to change my game to make the team significantly better, and my burning desire to get better. I'm in the gym as much as I can, and i'm always looking to add something new to my game to make me more versatile. What makes me different from other recruits is that my character is on of a kind. I'm one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and my attitude about everything is amazing. I always try to make something out of nothing or make the best out of every negative situation that happens. From what you can see in the tapes I have on my profile I can really be an efficient scorer, I can run the pick and roll really efficiently and I can really shoot the ball. That, along with my ability to rebound the basketball, finish around the rim, hustle after loose balls, and be a great teammate makes me an all around basketball player. My academics are also a very important part of my day. As you can see from my Transcript, I maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA, and I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the court.
