My academic goals and aspiration are to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and then pursue to obtain my doctorate degree in Pharmacy. This path has been my dream because I’m confident it will allow me to contribute in making a difference in the world. I consider myself a very compassionate, patient and strong detailed person that enjoys working in a team environment. These skills, among others, have helped me thrive in my daily activities, in continuing to maintain a 4.00-point average during my high school years and fulfill my passion and dream to play basketball.

I’m interested in attending a campus that allows me to grow mentally and physically while providing me with the tools to succeed in life. I would also like to be part of a competitive athletic program that I can represent with great honor. Basketball is part of my life, it’s my passion, and I hope one day I have an opportunity to compete at a professional level.

During the past three years, I’ve been the captain of my basketball school team. Apart from demonstrating my leadership skills and gained my teams' trust, being a team captain and point guard has given me a sense of awareness in each game which has improved throughout the years. I considered myself a strong-minded athlete which has helped me focus and engaged in every task given. I’m a very determined, passionate, focused and confident person with an unwavering desire to get better and learn more every day from my coaches and peers.

Being an athlete and maintaining a 4.00-point average throughout my entire school years has been a great honor and privilege to achieve. I’m certain that when we put our heart, mind, and passion in what we do, anything is possible. Basketball for me is more than just representing a team; it's doing everything possible to make my teammates better, it’s the will to prepare the team for the win, to gain more knowledge, learn from our coaches and peers but most important to gain a family.
