Drew Murray '15 Recruiting Profile

My dream as a young student of the great game of basketball is to continue competing on the college level. This dream of mine has pushed me to strive for many things that people told me I couldn’t do. This love and passion has driven me to be the player that I have become. For this reason, my goal is to work every day as much as I can to continue to improve my game.

 I also understand the importance of the student aspect in student athlete. In my education, I hope to take the aspects of life that I find most challenging and enjoyable and make them my profession. I cannot be sure exactly where this course will take me, but to follow any other would be simplistic. Values like teamwork, dedication and a positive attitude are essential on the playing field or court, but they are also important tools to have when the collegiate sports career ends.  Off the court, I will use the lessons I have and will continue to learn through sports to be a positive example and give back to the community.
