My name is Daniel Allen, combo guard class of 2024.
I offer excellent ball protection and awareness. I am unselfish, consistent, and dependable on the offensive end. However, my strength is my defensive IQ and believe that I truly set myself apart from other guards on the defensive end.
I am a level-headed player despite pressure or adversity. I value team chemistry and work to maximize attitude awareness and positivity. I'm highly coachable with a drive to never stop improving. I maintain strict daily strength, conditioning, handling, and shooting workouts in my own time in addition to the scheduled practices and workouts with the team.
I apply the same self-discipline to my academic standards. I believe a sharp mind translates into quick understanding on the court. I currently have a weighted GPA of a 5.09 (4.0 unweighted) and maintain a challenging course load. My desire is to play basketball for a school that is also recognized academically.
Thank you for taking to time to review my profile and read my personal statement. I look forward to future conversations with you.
