I am an exchange student from Brazil and currently with a host family in Bison (South Dakota). I am presently in my senior year of high school and will be looking to play at the college level. Bison is a very small school with an extremely young team so getting noticed will be hard here in such a small town. I arrived in South Dakota January 4th and jumped on the team as a starter and point guard. Bison basketball has been a great experience playing with such a small-town team, I have had a lot of fun mentoring and getting to them as we learn to work together. I am 6´4 and play point guard with good vision to see the floor, ball control and I excel at shooting in the 3-point range. I´m looking for an opportunity to play at the college level, as well as, apply for a basketball scholarship. I am currently averaging a straight A grade point average and will continue to hold my grades at a high standard.
I have been playing basketball since age 11 and have already participated in the Brazilian Nacional championships, Sul-American championships etc... Prior to arriving in the United States, I finished the season with my Brazilian team. My team-mates that I play with play basketball at an extremely advanced level. Participating and playing ball with this group of talented players takes an extremely advanced skill level. Not many basketball players get such an incredible opportunity to participate.
