Samuel Baskin '25 Recruiting Profile

I'm a long time basketball player who loves the game. I've been playing since 5 years old and wanting to compete ever since then. I watched my older sister play division 1 basketball at Arizona State University growing up and it inspired me. She told me that first I needed to get my grades up so I've become a 4.0 honor student ever since getting into high school and currently have a 3.9 unweighted GPA. I've also joined student council this year and have been apart of the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council) since freshman year. As for my level of competition, I got some varsity minutes this year and I'm going to play a big role in the upcoming 2023-24 varsity season. In the summer I play for a club team and compete against high level competition every tournament. I'm a hard worker on or off the court and I love to compete.
