Joseph Hufstedler '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is play basketball or baseball in college. I have worked tirelessly to become the best athlete I can be while maintaining high grades in the classroom. 

I believe in a team 1st philosophy. The name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back of the jersey. I will do what I can to help the team reach its goals. On the basketball court this means selling out on defense and making the extra pass. There are times when I will be needed as a primary scorer and there are other times that I will be needed as a facilitator of the offense. On the baseball field, I understand that there are ways to manufacture runs. To win games, sometimes it is necessary to give yourself up to plate a run. Doing this will not reflect in my personal stats but it could be a huge impact to the only stat that matters, wins!

I work on every aspect of the game to be as complete of a player as I can be. I take pride in my knowledge of the game, and I always strive to excel in the classroom.
