I am a 6'0” point guard from Memphis, Tennessee. I currently attend Germantown High School, coached by Marvis Davis. I have been a member of the Red Devil Men’s Varsity Team for the past year and a half. I joined the team in January of 2012. I started out as the sixth man and earned a starting point guard position the next season 2012 – 2013. I averaged 9 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds.
Before becoming a Red Devils at Germantown High School, I was a member of the Central High School Warriors Men’s Varsity Basketball Team. While there I played on the Freshman Boys Team. While playing there I was voted Freshmen Player of the year and I was the only freshman on the varsity team. I average 24 points 9 assists.
During my 8th grade season I attended Memphis Catholic Middle school. I received The Best Offensive Player and Top Scorer Awards. Some of my AAU Teams were Memphis War Eagles 2008-2011, Memphis Magic Elite 2011, Pure Magic Elite 2012-2013. I was awarded Defensive MVP 2011.
So far this summer has been very productive. I’m a starting point guard averaging 14 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. I’ve traveled to a lot of places and have played against some of the best players from all over. I feel like I have become more competitive and disciplined.
I am a member of Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ and have been since I was born and attend regularly if I’m not out of town. I would say that I am a leader but I am also willing to learn more, work harder and encourage my teammates to work harder.
I am interested in attending a school that is far enough away that I can be independent by not too far that my parents and perhaps some of my family could come see me play. I want to play for a coach that have my best interest at heart, academically as well as athletically. I also want a coach that will believe in my athletic skills and give me a chance. I believe with the right support and guidance. I could make a significant impact on any team.
While both my parents are in the middle class working community, I will need financial assistance. My older sibling will also be in college at the same time.
