Volleyball has been the love of my life since I was in the fourth grade, and my passion for the sport grows every single day. I aspire to play volleyball on a collegiate-level to further develop my skills and passion for the game. Some of my collegiate goals are to: maintain consistency of my sets as I assist different positions, know and understand my teammates/hitters, and increase my volleyball IQ and strategic mentality. In addition to those goals, I plan to maintain my fitness by jumping higher, running faster, and becoming stronger. I offer many significant aspects of being a volleyball player; I am a passionate, coachable, hustling, hardworking, eager player, and I am open to learning new skills. I am very flexible in my positions, and I have played every position except for the libero; however, I am open to that option. I play the Setter/RH position, and I believe I am best at this. In addition to this, I love to win, and I love the fight and competitiveness of the game. Being a leader on my team, I push myself and my teammates extremely hard because I want us to be the best. As a member of any team I have been a part of, I have always encouraged athletic honesty, focus, and perseverance because we should work for each other as a team. My hard work is evident in my performance on the court as well as off the court. Currently, I hold a 4.0128 GPA while playing club volleyball and attending high school conditioning year-round, and I am ranked 56th in my class out of 480 students; I intend on raising both of those through the course of my senior year. Another thing that makes me different from other recruits is successfully balancing school, volleyball, and a part-time job during my junior year. I am hopeful that my character, academics, and athletic attributes make me a great candidate to play on a collegiate-level team.
